1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from Inner Balance Center, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by all terms, conditions, and policies outlined herein.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not book or receive services.
 
2. Privacy Policy
Information Collection
Inner Balance Center may collect personal information including, but not limited to:

• Name

• Phone number

• Email address

• Appointment and service history

• Health information voluntarily provided by the Client
   

Use of Information
This information is used strictly for:

• Scheduling and managing appointments

• Client communication (including reminders and updates)

• Providing safe and appropriate massage therapy services

We do not sell, rent, or distribute your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
 
Data Security Disclaimer
While we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your information, Inner Balance Center makes no guarantees regarding the absolute security of electronic data transmission or storage and shall not be held liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
3. Text Messaging Policy (TCPA Compliance)
By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive non-marketing and limited marketing text messages from Inner Balance Center.
Message Types May Include:

• Appointment confirmations

• Appointment reminders

• Scheduling notifications

• Limited promotional or informational messages
   

Additional Terms

• Message frequency may vary

• Standard message and data rates may apply

• Consent is not a condition of purchase
   

Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Upon opting out, you may not receive further appointment reminders via text.
Inner Balance Center is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Cancellation, No-Show, and Payment Policy
Strict 12-Hour Cancellation Requirement
Clients must provide a minimum of 12 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.
 
Late Cancellation & No-Show Fees

• Appointments canceled with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee

• Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee
   

Card on File Authorization
By booking an appointment, you authorize Inner Balance Center to:

• Store a valid credit card on file

• Charge said card in accordance with this policy

Failure to comply with this policy may result in refusal of future services.
 
5. Sick Policy
Clients experiencing any illness or symptoms within 24 hours of their appointment must notify the clinic to reschedule.
Symptoms Include (but are not limited to):

• Coughing

• Sneezing

• Runny nose

• Congestion

• Fever

• Sore throat

• Use of cold/flu medications
   

Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
Inner Balance Center reserves the right to:

• Refuse service

• Shorten or terminate a session

• Reschedule the appointment

Full service fees may still be charged at the clinic’s discretion.
Clients who knowingly attend while ill assume all associated risks.
 
6. Late Arrival Policy

• Late arrivals will result in a shortened session at the therapist’s discretion

• Full service fees will still apply

• If the Client is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the appointment will be considered a no-show

• No-show charges will apply in full
   

7. Prenatal & Minor Policy
Prenatal Clients

• Must book a Prenatal Massage

• Not all therapists are trained for prenatal work

• Clients in the first trimester or high-risk pregnancy must call to book

• A physician’s written clearance is required for high-risk pregnancies

Failure to disclose pregnancy status may result in refusal of service without refund.
Minors (Under 18)

• Must book an Adolescent Massage

• Must have parent or legal guardian consent

• Not all therapists provide services to minors
   

8. Medical Disclaimer
Massage therapy services provided by Inner Balance Center:

• Are non-medical in nature

• Are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

• Are not a substitute for professional medical care

Clients are solely responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition.
 
9. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By receiving services, the Client acknowledges and agrees:
Acknowledged Risks Include:

• Muscle soreness

• Bruising

• Temporary discomfort

• Aggravation of pre-existing conditions

• Undiagnosed injuries becoming symptomatic
   

Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

• Disclose all medical conditions, injuries, and medications

• Notify the therapist immediately of any discomfort

• Update health information as necessary
   

Assumption of Risk
The Client knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with massage therapy services.
 
10. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to:

• Release and discharge Inner Balance Center, its owners, employees, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action

• Including but not limited to personal injury, pain, suffering, or damages arising from services rendered

This release applies regardless of whether such claims arise from:

• Negligence (excluding gross negligence where prohibited by law)

• Pre-existing conditions

• Failure to disclose medical information
   

11. Professional Conduct & Zero Tolerance Policy
Inner Balance Center maintains a strict professional environment.

• Any inappropriate, suggestive, or disrespectful behavior will result in:

  • Immediate termination of the session

  • Full service charges applied

  • Permanent refusal of future services

No exceptions.
 
12. Right to Refuse Service
Inner Balance Center reserves the absolute right to:

• Refuse service to any individual at any time

• Terminate any session at its sole discretion
   

13. Session Termination
Sessions may be terminated at any time by either party.

• If terminated due to Client misconduct, full charges apply

• No refunds will be issued for terminated sessions
   

14. No Guarantees of Outcome
Inner Balance Center makes no guarantees regarding:

• Pain relief

• Recovery outcomes

• Therapeutic results

Results vary by individual.
 
15. Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Inner Balance Center from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Failure to disclose medical conditions

• Misuse of services

• Violation of these terms
   

16. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within California.
17. Agreement & Consent
By booking an appointment or receiving services, the Client:

• Confirms they have read and understood this agreement

• Acknowledges full acceptance of all terms

• Provides informed and voluntary consent
